Composite hoses are designed for applications where the hose is immersed in a chemical medium while simultaneously conveying the medium. In such cases, the chemical medium in contact with both the inner and outer surfaces of the hose must not corrode the inner lining, the stainless steel inner reinforcement, the hose jacket, or the outer reinforcement.
